41st NINE NECKS
On May 22 the legendary one returns “Nine Necks” it joins to 41st edition.
It is the most announced cycle-touring competition of Europe, appreciated either of the athletes professionals, or of so many lovers who want to try the shiver of a run with the papers in rule for intensity and difficulty.
The competition shares the port Cesenatico canal to the 6.30 on a run than the coast given to the sweet hills of the inland; a 200 kilometres push on the pedals that foresees the overcoming of nine necks, from here the name, and concludes on the seafront Carducci, close to the Cologne Agip.
The run, which it has also traced out alternatively of 130 Km. for cicloamatori a little "lazier", it is punctuated and scanned by a precious cartellonistica also for training and excursions on two wheels during the whole year.
A manifestation that could grow only here, in the native city of Mark Pantani, become for years point of reference of the active holiday thanks to the structures and on the numerous initiatives dedicated to the cycling.
After the incredible success drawn in 2010, the edition of the fortieth anniversary, the organizers of G.C. Fausto Coppi have decided this year to close also to share 12mila the number of the members, establishing a true and own record of participation in continental level, as far as it regards the competitions of this type.
Nine Necks it has become also the occasion for a series of manifestations and events of remarkable interest that liven up a whole weekend dedicated to the cycling tourism, involving not only the lovers and the members to the competitions, but also a companions' wide public that takes advantage of it to take the first tan and to taste the plates of the renowned kitchen based on fish.
A week-end consecrated to the bicycle with a notebook rich in events to outfit of the Big prestigious one I Melt, a calendar of initiatives that they will do from Cesenatico “the temple of two wheels”.
