E’ la gara cicloturistica più partecipata d’Europa, apprezzata sia dagli atleti professionisti, sia dai tanti appassionati che vogliono provare il brivido di una corsa con le carte in regola per intensità e difficoltà.

La gara parte dal porto canale di Cesenatico alle 6.30 su un percorso che dalla costa porta alle dolci colline dell’entroterra; una pedalata di 200 chilometri che prevede il superamento di nove colli, da qui il nome, e si conclude sul lungomare Carducci, presso la Colonia Agip.

Dopo l’incredibile successo riscosso nel 2010, l’edizione del quarantennale, gli organizzatori del G.C. Fausto Coppi hanno deciso anche quest’anno di chiudere a quota 12mila il numero degli iscritti, stabilendo un vero e proprio record di partecipazioni a livello continentale, per quanto riguarda le competizioni di questo tipo.

Nine Necks it has become also the occasion for a series of manifestations and events of remarkable interest that liven up a whole weekend dedicated to the cycling tourism, involving not only the lovers and the members to the competitions, but also a companions' wide public that takes advantage of it to take the first tan and to taste the plates of the renowned kitchen based on fish. La Nove Colli è diventata anche l’occasione per una serie di manifestazioni ed eventi di notevole interesse che animano un intero weekend dedicato al cicloturismo, coinvolgendo non solo gli appassionati e gli iscritti alle gare, ma anche un vasto pubblico di accompagnatori che ne approfitta per prendere la prima tintarella e per degustare i piatti della rinomata cucina a base di pesce.
