They begin the Christmas festivities!!!!
The inauguration of the Crib of the Navy will take place on Sunday on December 6 to the hours 17,30 and the lighting of the illuminations that cover all the boats with the navy, will be preceded by the musical on the Nativity “A cry in the night”, with the Theatrical Company of Carlo Tedeschi.
The show tells this that happened the Night of Christmas of 1223 to Greccio, when Holy Francesco, together with the friend Giovanni, organised and gave life to the first Crib, instituting so the tradition it.
The scene opens with the most beautiful Angel that says how the “Poor man of Assisi”, tuning a Gregorian chant, receives those who intend to approach God; to his backs, the Crib takes life with the dances of the pastorelli, the melody dedicated to the Bambin Jesus and the song by the star comet.
The musical concludes with a polyphonic passage of great emotional impact.
On December 6, it will be prepared by Italian Posts, a special philatelic cancellation dedicated to the Crib, while in the holiday days of December and January, it is possible to purchase the card to the Museum of the Navy I remember with the cancellation.
To see also the Crib of the Preserves (from December 13 2009 until January 6 2010), more traditional and placed in the striking piazzetta where there can be admired the ancient Preserves (or iceboxes) what filled with ice or snow, had the function of keeping the fish.
Close to the expositive halls of the section to land of the Museum of the Navy there will be organised the cartographic exhibition “The mirror of the sea”, Papers of the Adriatic one of the XVI to XIX century”.
Besides, each week-end in the historical centre, the small markets of Christmas, shows for big and small, sets to music, play, animation and, the night of New Year's Day, rendezvous not to be lost with New Year's Day on the Port, for healthy whole the arrival of the new year to the sign of the good music, of the fun and of the amusement, with concert of Mocha Club and the dj Gian Paolo Ronconi live with Radio I Study Delta, all of it flavoured by the wonderful show of fires of artifice that will light in day the waters of the Port Leonardesque canal, transforming it into a true and own image with card!
