Holiday of the Navy
The Holiday of the Navy to Cesenatico is a great event dedicated to the strong seafaring identity of the beautiful of Romagna small town.
Cesenatico proposes the holiday of the Navy also to welcome to the summer and to celebrate the gastronomic tradition based on good fish of the Adriatic one, so much loved at the visitors' and at the tourists'.
The calendar is rich in events to interest to involve and to make amusing really each host!
From the meetings to the sport, from the cinematographic review to the gastronomic stands, of the exits in sea to the demonstrations with the fishermen.
The edition 2010, in contrast to the years in whom it was organised in corrisponderza of the summer solstice, the Holiday of the Navy is anticipated to the period that goes to 3 in June 6.
During the days of the event, thanks to the School of sail and of historical navigation, you will be able to learn so many secrets of the sea and of the ancient profession of the fisherman.
Different are going the events and the occasions to see from close up the techniques of navigation, the preparation of the sails, the conduct of the boats and to discover which the principal tools are used for sailing.
4 and on June 5, I sweep also to the naval model-making, in the waters in front of the Museum of the Navy, where you will be able to admire the shows of the modellini of Ivano Bettini.
In order that the tasting does not lose also the typical menus prepared by the fishermen of Cesenatico, in the Courtyard of the Museum of the Navy, during the weekend 5 and 6 in June.
For the whole duration of the holiday, the Museum of the Navy will remain opened to allow visits guided to the boats restored and moored in the striking canal.

- hours 22 Roberto Mercandini tells the Museum of the Navy Moby Dick, to reflect on the themes of the life, of the death and on their sense.
On June 4
- hours 17,30 to the Museum of the Navy, it reviews Little Wolves of Sea with the show Zughé, lavuré and I Cidia stories, with histories dedicated to the work of the children of once on the seashore of the sea and to their games;
- hours 18,30 to the Museum of the Navy, inauguration of the exhibition Squeri, of Osvaldo Piraccini, dedicated to Cesenatico and to his squero, which is the place where the boats are built;
- hours 21,30 to the Hold of the trabaccolo “G. It grazes”, nth rendezvous with the review Little Wolves of Sea and the narration In the Stomach of the Whale;

- hours 15 to the sea in front of Cesenatico, there is the great Sail of Navy, visible also with land with Square Spouses of the Sailors, or in the area of mooring of the traditional boats (to see the departure);
- hours 17 to the Museum of the Navy, it reviews Little sea wolves with the laboratory Leonardo and the bridge of the peace, to learn to build the bridge salvatico, to colour the sails and to learn the techniques of the knots of sailor. Moreover, the children will be able to test themselves in a hunt to the treasure between the boats of the Museum;
- hours 17 in the area I moor traditional boats, presentation of the Association Sails to the Third of the Romagne, where from there they will come you present the boats and the activities;
