Cesenatico, ancient port of sea, defines his vocation that sinks the own roots in the history of the navy with a fair dedicated to products, gastronomy and handicraft of land and of sea.Cesenatico, antico porto di mare, definisce la sua vocazione che affonda le proprie radici nella storia della marineria con una fiera dedicata a prodotti, gastronomia e artigianato di terra e di mare.

There is called in fact "Mediterranean" the fair that unwinds to Cesenatico from April 30 until May 1, from the 9 to the 23, long the roads of the historical centre to shelter of the Port Leonardesque Canal. Si chiama infatti “Mediterranea” la fiera che si svolge a Cesenatico dal 30 aprile al 1 maggio, dalle 9 alle 23, lungo le vie del centro storico a ridosso del Porto Canale leonardesco.

The manifestation has that as an objective of giving visibility to the typical products and to the handicraft of the coastal territories that they have Mediterranean like common geographic denominator. La manifestazione ha come obiettivo quello di dare visibilità ai prodotti tipici ed all’artigianato dei territori costieri che hanno il Mediterraneo come comune denominatore geografico.

The initiative co-ordinated “I Associate The Cities the Markets”, association of strolling operators associated with Confcommercio and Confesercenti of the Province of Forlì-Cesena with the defence of the Municipality of Cesenatico, it applies to the interested strolling operators of the whole national territory either to the sale of agroindustrial, eno-gastronomic, food typical products transformed, handicraft, or to the restoration through the management of gastronomic stands for the somministrazione to the public of typical gastronomic specialities and sale of typical products. L’iniziativa coordinata dal “Consorzio Le Città i Mercati”, associazione di operatori ambulanti associati a Confcommercio e Confesercenti della Provincia di Forlì-Cesena con il patrocinio del Comune di Cesenatico, si rivolge agli operatori ambulanti di tutto il territorio nazionale interessati sia alla vendita di prodotti tipici agro-alimentari, eno-gastronomici, alimentari trasformati, artigianato, sia alla ristorazione attraverso la gestione di stand gastronomici per la somministrazione al pubblico di tipiche specialità gastronomiche e vendita di prodotti tipici.

The present thematic areas are: the island of the wines, exhibition and sale of regional wines; the square of the vegetable gardens and of the spices, fruit and vegetable, aromatic spices, infusions and condiments; the island of the cheeses and of the cured pork; the road of the oil and of the preserved ones; the road of the sweets and of the spirits, dolciumi, chocolate, honey, jams and distilled; the village of the arts and of the professions, handicraft, modern antique dealing and antique trade. Le aree tematiche presenti sono: l’isola dei vini, esposizione e vendita di vini regionali; la piazza degli orti e delle spezie, ortofrutta, spezie aromatiche, infusi e condimenti; l’isola dei formaggi e dei salumi; la via dell’olio e dei conservati; la via dei dolci e degli spiriti, dolciumi, cioccolato, miele, confetture e distillati; il borgo delle arti e dei mestieri, artigianato, modernariato e antiquariato.
