THE HOLIDAY OF THE FISH OF THE ADRIATIC ONE!!!
Cesenatico changes in a great restaurant for the gastronomic manifestation “The Fish does Holiday”.
Saturday on October 29 to Tuesday on long November 1 the port canal, in the squares of the centre and in the historical Cologne grill Agip trionfano of fish, fries and plates of the seafaring tradition.
Become by now a traditional rendezvous, the manifestation “The Fish does Holiday”, realised at the Municipality of Cesenatico and organised at the Consortium “The Cities, the Markets”, with the A.RI.CE collaboration. - Association of the restorative ones of Cesenatico - economic categories of the territory, of the Co-operative Fisherman of Cesenatico and to the Association Historical Centre, it plans a rich one and paragraph plans.
The fishermen, thanks to a dispensation of the Ministry, will be able to go exceptionally to fishing on Saturday and Sunday and to sell the catch in the Communal Fish shop (extraordinary opening of the 9 to the 20).
The tastings of the plates based on fish will unwind nearby the Cologne Agip, sited on the seafront of Cesenatico, while in the roads of the historical Centre of the city the points will be organised I refresh where there will be able to be tasted, at moderate and popular prices, the plates of the local tradition, like the fried mixture of the Adriatic one, the risotto to the pescatora, the cuttlefishes with the peas.
In the harbour zone of West, in the neighbourhoods of old Squero, the fishermen, inside a very capacious tensile structure, they will elaborate appetizers based on mussels and vongole, first succulent and the classics "rustide", all of it flavoured with musical entertainment.
Inside the Cologne Agip, on the seafront Carducci, the restorative ones of the A.RI.CE. (Association Restorative Cesenatico) they will prepare their best prescriptions with the Friday dinner for the Tuesday dinner (opening hours 11.30-15 and 18-22).
In the historical centre, as tradition, there will find space the stands of the Volunteers of Avis, of the Friends of the Ccils, of the Association We Give Life to the Old ones and fishermen's Associations “Between the Sky and the Sea” and “Fishermen to Your House”, that will not prepare any typical plates of the of Romagna seafaring kitchen, like the skewers of fish, the fried mixture of the Adriatic one, the cuttlefishes with the peas and the passatelli for the fish broth. There is confirmed also this year the participation of the Friends of Vicenza, who will cook the stockfish to the vicentina and other typical products of the local gastronomy.
The novelty of this edition is represented by the introduction, in the program of the gastronomic review, of some initiatives of entertainment and of spaces dedicated to the culture, that there will take place in the special area extracted in Square of Monte, with interventions of Annulled Mazzoli, authoress of stories and of histories dedicated to the children, Valentina Tepedino, expert veterinary science of ichthyic matter and director of Eurofishmarket, Davide Gnola, Director of the Museum of the Navy of Cesenatico, as well as the lessons of kitchen of Albert Faccani.
There is then the Sweets of A.RI.CE. prepared by the starry chef Sergio Ferrarini, the seafaring traditional kitchen on board of the motorships Tritone, New Ghibli and Windtour moored on the port and, in the picturesque Piazzetta of the Preserves, the proposals of Chef to Chef Emiliaromagnacuochi, represented by the “master of the stoves” Albert Faccani.
Besides, also this year, some restaurants of Cesenatico will present a special menu dedicated to the event, composed by a hot and cold appetizer, a first one and a second, to prices extremely contained.
The fish used by all the stands and by the restaurants is rigorously home and the freshest, only fished by our local fleet. Triglie, mallets, anchovies, emptyings, squills, moletti and so on that it will be possible to see fresh before being served in board, close to the Communal Fish shop that she will remain opened for the whole weekend. With “The Fish does Holiday”, the of Romagna small town becomes the attraction pole for all the gourmets and for the one who cannot renounce, to the taste and to the perfume of sea.
The “Fish does Holiday” it is an event of point of the review “Wine Food Festival Emilia-Romagna” and is inserted inside the rich calendar of “greedy events” that unwind in Emilia Romagna, to the discovery of the pleasures of the region.
When Anita Garibaldi and Road do at frame to the tastings, in Course Garibaldi, Road Nino Bixio, in the days of Saturday 29, Sunday 30, Monday on October 31 and Tuesday on November 1 a great strolling fair will be organised with artistic and traditional homemade products, typical and transformed foods, modern antique dealing, gift and fancy goods industry, collecting, games and other attractions.
